Wambrook Parish Church

Wambrook”. In the 1974 copies it was thought this stone commemorated Vice Admiral John William

DORVILLE, of Great Malvern, Worcs, who was Patron and owner of the Glebe at Wambrook c1882

1888. If it does, his naval rank and forename is different, though the date of the stone looks roughly

right. Since PR: is still in the church and there are no BTs available later than 1880, all one can say is

that it is probably his memorial or to some other member of his family.
